Check AI answers without overclaiming

An answer snapshot is evidence for one query and context, not a stable ranking or a promise of future citations.

Save the complete prompt, system or product, date, language, region, answer, and every source URL shown. Repeat the same query in the same context before comparing snapshots.

Separate brand mention, recommendation, factual answer, and cited source. One result cannot show why a system chose a source or predict what it will answer next time. State what was observed, what remains unknown, and when to recheck.

Steps to follow

  • Use an audience question that does not name the brand.
  • Keep the prompt and region unchanged between snapshots.
  • Open each cited source and verify the relevant passage.
  • Describe the limits beside the result.
